State of Ohio Campaign For Jobs
A key component of the Campaign for Jobs is regulatory reform. In order to collect ideas for removing barriers to job creation, Lieutenant Governor Taylor recently launched a new website and email address for “Common Sense Initiatives”. Go to to share your common sense solutions and sign-up for periodic updates on the progress of CSI Ohio.
Also, Lietenant Governor Mary Taylor is accepting applications to fill five seats on the Small Business Advisory Council as part of the Common Sense Initiative (CSI). She is looking for individuals with a small business background who can provide guidance to CSI Ohio as they review new rules and regulations and identify those that place adverse financial burdens on Ohio’s job creators. Introducing The Lake County Chambers Business Academy
Members of the Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce (WLCCC) are now eligible for discounted rates on a variety of professional development training programs and special events to develop employee talent.
As a member of the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, WLCCC is eligible to take part in the newly formed Lake County Chambers Business Academy (LCCBA).
The LCCBA is combined effort among the Lake County Chambers of Commerce, Lakeland Community College’s Continuing Education Department and Center for Business and Industry to provide reduced-cost training.
